Daktarin Cream
Daktarin Gel and Daktarin Cream contain the antifungal ingredient miconazole, which may be prescribed to treat yeast infections and fungus infections. It works by changing the membranes of the fungus cells by prohibiting their production of a specific substance. This alteration causes holes to appear in the fungal cell membrane and material essential for the fungus’ survival to leak out, killing the fungus and ridding the body of the infection. Daktarin Gel is mostly used to combat fungus infections like oral thrush, which can appear within the throat and mouth. It can also be given to prevent such infections in the stomach, intestines, throat and the mouth of more susceptible patients.
